Who runs this site
Wasatch County Council Chair Erik Rowland started wasatchgov.org as an independent project. Wasatch County does not run the site. The tools do not speak for the County Council or for any county office.
Why it exists
County government sets budgets, taxes, and appointments that affect every resident. The documents behind those decisions can be hard to read. These tools try to make them easier to understand and easier to use.
What the status labels mean
- Live
- The tool works with current data or with the current county form.
- Review draft
- The tool shows a proposed form or policy. The County Council has not adopted it.
- Prototype for discussion
- The tool shows an idea for public discussion. Its records are not official county records.
Your information
- The campaign financial disclosure tool and the conflict of interest tool build each PDF in your browser. They send no answer to a server and store no answer.
- The county boards prototype has a public page that anyone can read. Council members and staff sign in to use the other pages.
- This site has no advertising and no tracking tools.

For county services, meetings, and official records, go to wasatchcounty.gov. A tool on this site does not change what the law requires or how you file with the county. For questions about a county form, contact the county office that handles it.
